Mountain Series
In this series of five paintings artist Tiffany Chang portrays a series of scenes from some of the world’s most strikingly beautiful mountains. She spent a great deal of time traveling to various locations throughout the world to behold the natural beauty of the mountains and caves she encountered in these locations. The paintings in this series include breathtaking scenes that emphasize a sense of power from nature.
All of her paintings in this series depict a single man or woman doing Tai Chi on a rocky outcrop overlooking a sweeping mountain range that is often blanketed in fog or inside an ice cave where light is reflected off the walls of the cave. These are symbolic of the artist’s own fascination with Tai Chi which she has practiced for many years and is currently teaching.
